Development Team
Our 6 week program is designed to improve players local to the Charlotte area's technical skills, and provide direct coaching with evaluations to better prepare for university soccer placements. By being a part of the Development Team, players have the chance to catch the attention of college coaches and potentially secure a spot on a university soccer team in the future.

Juanma Llanos
Head Coach - Development Team
Currently an assistant for the Limestone University Men's program, the native of Manizales, Colombia has also coached at the NCAA D1 level for Gardner Webb University. Juanma was also a standout player for the power house NAIA Hastings College, winning multiple championships.
João Espinheira
Assistant Coach - Development Team
João comes from Salvador, Brazil playing 5 seasons at NCAA D1 Gardner Webb University, whilst getting his undergraduate degree and then joining the GWU Runnin’ Bulldogs coaching staff as an assistant coach. His passion for the sport serves as his motivation for getting players the best possible college soccer experience.
